As part of rehabilitation work on the drinking water network, and the creation of a link between Vaudancourt and Vinay (dpt 51, France), Intermas intervened on the site during a detection demonstration with its warning grids equipped with ELIOT RFID chips (GA ELIOT).

As part of this project, the EHTP / NGEteams easily and quickly installed the ELIOT Warning Grille over approximately 7 km. In a single pass, the warning device produced according to the EN 12613 standard is unrolled, on which is fixed a reliable and durable detection and identification system. "One Stone, Two Shots"!

Intermas was able to bring its expertise by working upstream with the stakeholders of this project, and thus deliver the GA ELIOT with a "Drinking Water" tag encoded every 6m, and additional personalized data (name of the manager, nature of the pipe , diameter, construction company, and year of installation).

The GA ELIOT: An economical and long-lasting "2in1" solution (each tag is independent) which allows precise, fast and intuitive detection and geolocation of buried networks in situ. This device makes it possible to avoid damage to the structures during subsequent work on the road, with sometimes heavy consequences in terms of additional costs, inconvenience to users and possible ecological damage.

This product, which combines signaling, identification and geolocation functions, makes it possible to optimize costs and save time during future work near the network, or as part of an operation on the network.

Product reference:GA ELIOT"Drinking water", width 30cm in rolls of 60m, with a spacing of 6m between RFID tags, with additional data (name of the manager, nature of the pipe, diameter, construction company, and year of installation ).

Installation method: "manual installation", as a standard warning device. Simple and fast.

Feedback: Intuitive and precise x,y and z detection of two pipes (DN 100 and DN 150) side by side, with discriminating information.
